Object design and branding
The studio designs objects and brands in which one idea runs through every touchpoint, from the logo to the shape of an object. Each project is led by creative director Vika Nurislamova, from research to the finished production run. Projects worldwide.
The studio builds a complete system for a brand, where every element is recognisable and speaks with one voice: logo and typeface, packaging, objects and space. Such a brand is easy to remember and easy to grow, and every new touchpoint continues the same story.
Tableware, vases, lighting and objects for brands, restaurants and hotels. The studio leads each project from research and concept to the production run and finds the right manufacturer for every task.

Identity, custom typeface, packaging, wayfinding and website. Visual systems that make a brand recognisable everywhere and that the client can develop further on their own.

Assembling the team for large projects. Visual communication systems for marketing and sales. Photo shoot ideas and scripts, concepts for presenting an object to a wide audience, advertising visuals.

Vika Nurislamova’s own objects, exhibitions and residencies. Research into material and form that feeds ideas into commissioned projects.

VIKA NURISLAMOVA STUDIO was founded by Vika Nurislamova, a creative director with over 15 years of experience. She studied graphic design at the University of Hertfordshire, worked at Ermolaev Bureau and as an art director at Instinct BBDO, and led the Professional Portfolio module at the British Higher School of Art and Design. With agencies she worked on projects for IKEA, Nike, YOTA and Nestle.
Vika personally leads every studio project, from research and the first idea to the brand launch or the production run. For each task the studio brings together a team, contractors and manufacturing, while the creative director is responsible for the integrity of the idea and the result.
Vika’s works are in the collection of the All-Russian Museum of Decorative Art and have been shown at the Tretyakov Gallery and Cosmoscow. She knows manufacturing from the inside, having worked in workshops and factories, including the Antifragility residency in Russia and in China’s porcelain capital.
It depends on the task: what is being designed, how many objects or touchpoints are involved and whether production preparation is needed. After a call and a brief the studio sends a proposal with stages, timeline and cost.
An object or identity concept usually takes four to six weeks, or from two weeks on a fast track. Production is scheduled separately: porcelain casting takes from two months, 3D printing from one month.
Yes, through to the finished run. The studio selects manufacturing to suit the task and volume, whether it is tableware, lighting, furniture or packaging, and supervises everything from the first samples to the final batch. Production costs are quoted separately.
Rights are transferred under the contract. The format is agreed in advance: a full transfer of rights or a royalty licence for large runs. Payment is made in two stages: 50% before the start and 50% on delivery.
Yes, the studio works on projects worldwide, with clients from Russia, Europe, the USA, Korea, China, Brazil and Portugal.
